Carrie Morris Mintz, MD, is a psychiatrist and postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Mintz completed both her doctor of medicine degree and her psychiatry residency training at Washington University. Her research is funded via a NIDA T32 grant and focuses on understanding disparities in treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) and improving the implementation of evidence-based treatment for OUD. In her clinical practice, Dr. Mintz evaluates and treats patients with substance use disorders and other psychiatric co-morbidities.
