Alina Syros, M.P.H is a current second-year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, she obtained her B.S. in Human Physiology and M.P.H from Boston University in 2018 and 2019. Since beginning medical school she has been involved with the IDEA needle exchange clinic and has loved working with and advocating for patients with substance use disorder. Her goals are to continue helping with harm reduction and promoting health equity.
