My name is Sumaya Smarony and I am an undergraduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I am currently working as a research assistant for the IVY (In Recovery) Research Lab at VCU Health System under the direction of Dr. Caitlin E. Martin. I have been working with the IVY Lab for over a year and was awarded the VCU Undergraduate Fellowship for Clinical and Translational Research in April 2021 to complete the current project I am presenting at ASAM.
