Karthik Budharaju is a medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. His notable achievements include winning 4th place at the 2018 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in the Biomedical and Health Sciences category for his research in misfolding proteins and Alzheimer's Disease pathogenesis, and recieving the NJIT Undergraduate Research and Innovation grant in 2020 for his research in peripheral nerve regeneration.
