Darien Stratton, MD, MA is a PGY-2 in Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. She completed undergraduate and graduate studies in Global Health at Arizona State University and graduated medical school with a distinction in medical education from the University of Arizona. She is a member of the AOA and Gold Humanism honor societies and currently serves as her residency program representative to EMRA. Her passions include social determinants of health, starting patients on buprenorphine, venomous creatures, warm weather, and reading sci-fi, fantasy, and murder mystery novels poolside. She is interested in pursuing training in Toxicology and Addiction upon graduating residency.
