Dr Stephen R Broderick MD, MPHS is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Thoracic Surgery at Johns Hopkins where he serves as Associate Program Director for the Cardiothoracic Surgery residency program and the Division Director for Quality and Patient Safety. His clinical and research interests are focused around the coordinated multidisciplinary care of patients with thoracic malignancies. Specifically, he has contributed to multiple clinical trials evaluating the role of neoadjuvant immune checkpoint inhibition in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer. Dr Broderick also serves on the Society of Thoracic Surgeons General Thoracic Surgery Database Task Force and is a Physician Advisor for Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins.
