Janet Kreutzer is a registered nurse with her master’s degree in teaching nursing working for Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi Texas. She currently is responsible for Quality Improvement Metrics for all aspects of the Congenital Heart Center. She previously had been part of the BayCare team, in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida for over 25 years, with 18 of them devoted to Congenital and Pediatric Heart Center quality and outcomes. Her focus was with the STS Congenital Heart Surgery Database but supports all aspects of data and quality within the heart center. She also consults at other facilities using her expertise to train team members, set up metrics tools and validate their data. In her spare time, she is enjoys sailing and gardening.
