I am a pediatric cardiac surgeon whose area of excellence is clinical investigation. I have over 15 years of research experience encompassing the period of my residency training and current faculty position. I have been actively involved in research and teaching throughout my career and as faculty I have mentored undergraduate premed students and medical students through summer internships in outcomes research and fellows during their rotation at my institution. I have successfully graduated with an MPH degree from the Harvard TH Chan school of public health, with my area of interest being clinical effectiveness. As a surgeon involved in NIH funded clinical health services research, I am confident that my expertise as a pediatric cardiac surgeon will provide me an additional skillset that will help me innovate in this field.
