Nancy has been practicing nursing for over 29 years, with 18 years experience in the areas of quality, safety, process improvement and data management. She has extensive background in emergency, critical care, and cardiovascular surgery nursing, in addition to quality management and patient safety. She currently works as an RN Clinical Analyst, responsible for abstracting and analyzing data for the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database and leading the Cardiac Surgery Best Practice Team at Novant Health. Her background also includes data abstraction for the STS/ACC TVT Registry, the STS General Thoracic Surgery Database and the NCDR Cath PCI Registry. Nancy is a member of the Adult Cardiac Surgery Database Core Group and the North Carolina Association for Healthcare Quality.
