Rebecca "Becky" Sam, MSN, RN, CPN, CCRN is currently a Director with the Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery team at McGovern Medical School affiliated with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is a second career nurse, spending 15 years in management before heading off to nursing school. Becky has spent the last 12 years at UT growing in her role with the heart team as the program continues to increase in complexity and volume. She is married with 2 grown children. When not working, she loves spending time with family, working in the yard and enjoying a nice glass of wine with friends.
