I have been here at Cedars since 1998 and started as working in the Dialysis Unit for 2 years. I transitioned in April 1999 in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit – specializing in Trauma, Liver transplant, Kidney/Pancreas Transplant, Neurosurgical and general surgical patients. I am currently the Assistant Nurse Manager of the MCS program where we coordinate the care of patients with mechanical circulatory devices. We manage about 50-60 patients in the community. Our program implants about 25-40 durable devices per year and 30-50 Impella 5.0/year.
