Sylvia M. Laudun, DNP, MBA, RN, CPHQ, has an accumulation over 30 years of nursing experience, specializing in medical cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patient care, disease and case management, clinical research, performance improvement, and data management for cardiac registries. She serves as an active member and past board member for the Louisiana Association of Healthcare Quality and holds the certification of Certified Profession in Healthcare Quality. Received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2016 from Louisiana State University School of Nursing and participates as a guest speaker for the graduate school of nursing on quality improvement and data management. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Sherri Ann Wissman Memorial Excellence Award in recognition of outstanding Performance in Mechanical Circulatory Support, and winner of Outstanding Poster at AQO for “Using A Multidisciplinary Approach for the Reduction of Ventilator Hours in Coronary Artery Bypass Graft.”
