An Oregon native, Katie has been with the Providence Cancer Institute at Providence Portland Medical Center since 2007. For the past 11 years she has served as the Clinical Data Manager for the Portland service area, with a focus on the STS GTSDB registry. She is involved in several data quality projects including the Providence Thoracic Surgery Initiative (TSI), a five-state quality initiative project, where she manages the aggregated data and reporting for 10 hospitals. Katie has been a member of the STS General Thoracic Core Group since 2016.
