Dr. Christopher Towe is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is thoracic surgeon practicing in University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended college at Brown University and completed medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. During his residency, he performed research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed cardiothoracic surgery residency at New York University. After graduation, he joined the faculty at Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he is currently practices general thoracic surgery. He is a member of several national societies including Chest, the Chest Wall Injury Society, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. His research interests include risk stratification in thoracic surgery, enhanced recovery pathways, and outcomes of minimally invasive approaches to surgery.
