Chasity Wellnitz MPH BSN RN, Director Database Administrator, Phoenix Children's Hospital.
As the Director, Database Administrator, Chasity Wellnitz has served the Heart Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for over a decade. In addition to working with the STS database, Chasity is involved with numerous clinical registries across all divisions within the hospital, using data to support healthcare quality. Chasity obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree from the University of Michigan. Chasity currently serves as the STS congenital database consultant, serves on the Congenital Core Group, and is involved in conference planning and database upgrades. Chasity's personal interests include LEGOs, shoes, and handbags in no particular order!
