2022 First Registrant Award

Every year, STS staff recognizes our first registrant of the AQO Meeting. Thank you to:

2022 Sherri Ann Wissman Memorial Excellence Award

One outstanding ventricular assist device (VAD) coordinator will be recognized and awarded the Sherri Ann Wissman Memorial Excellence Award during the Intermacs/Pedimacs meeting day on Wednesday, October 26. This award is presented in memory of longtime Intermacs VAD Coordinator Sherri Ann Wissman, who passed away in 2016. The recipient of this award has been chosen by STS staff, based on nominations that identified a VAD coordinator who demonstrates the following:

      • Loyalty and dependability
      • Helpfulness to fellow employees and patients
      • Selflessness
      • Contribution to the overall quality of life of VAD patients

The 2022 recipient of the award is:

2022 Dorothy Latham Poster Award

This award is presented in memory of longtime STS consultant Dorothy Latham, who passed away in 2019. STS will recognize one poster presentation with the Dorothy Latham Poster Award based on attendee votes. Please participate by viewing the e-posters and rating your favorite.
