Carmen Elliott, MS, CAE
Carmen is an association executive with expertise in leading high-performing teams, developing strategy, strengthening financial performance, enhancing member engagement, and articulating mission and vision to achieve organizational goals.
Carmen Elliott is the Executive Director of the PT Fund and VP of DEI for the American Physical Therapy Association. As a member of the senior team, she serves as the association’s member-facing DEI thought leader in which she cultivates and champions a diverse, equitable, and inclusive member experience. As VP of DEI and executive director of the PT Fund, which includes the Minority Scholarship and the Dimensions of Diversity Funds, Elliott also serves as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors’ DEI Committee. She administers the Fund, creates a strategy for increasing donations, and participates in fundraising efforts.
Carmen is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She currenlty serves on the ASAE Board of Directors. She is an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadershp Program Scholar and possesses a Certifed Association Executive credential.
Carmen holds a BS in Biology, MS in Health Care Management, and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Human Services.
