Legal compliance is a concept that touches on numerous areas of private practice. The risks associated with failing to comply with legal requirements can be significant. The purpose of this session is to review certain legal compliance topics across a broad range of issues that affect private practices on a daily basis, paying particular attention to the areas of fraud and abuse, practice compliance plans, and HIPAA. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to identify certain key legal compliance issues so that concerns can be adequately addressed in a manner that supports an environment of compliance.
