Physical therapists have been inundated with payer reviews (audits) at record levels since August of 2021 . Correct billing and documentation are, of course, key to passing an audit but understanding what precipitates one is an essential component of your offensive strategy.
Submitting records to a payer requires finesse, careful management, punctuality, and the ability to see the records through the lens of the non-therapist auditor. While this presentation will cover all of the above it will focus on the latter.
This presentation will provide actual documents and tools used to successfully manage high-error submissions.
