Kimberly Prinsen is a nurse with over 36 years of experience in the perioperative specialty.
Prior to joining 3M as an Advanced Clinical Applications Specialist in the Medical Solutions Division she served as a Clinical Director of Surgical Services. She has been a scrub and circulating nurse, surgical services educator, ASC OR nurse manager, ASC and Center for Pain Management Director.
Her current role focusses on antiseptics including, nasal decolonization and perioperative skin preparation. Her work involves both product and program development and she has lectured on HAI prevention related topics across the United States.
Kim obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Allen College in Waterloo, IA and her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from the same institution. She has served in the Navy Reserves as part of the Fleet Hospital. She is a member of AORN and APIC.
