Dr. Sonya Dick has been in healthcare administration, medical device industry, clinical practice/research in burn/wound trauma and academic education for over 30 years. Completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The College of St Scholastica, Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at University of Central Arkansas.
Dr Dick also serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Cadaver Anatomy at the University of Kentucky’s College of Medicine and has been the Associate Director of Clinical Education at Western Kentucky University’s Program in PT and adjunct faculty or guest lecturer at multiple Universities across the US in the coursework for the integumentary system & wound management.
She has multiple publications in wound management and physical therapy practice and is Board Certified Wound Specialist by the American Board of Wound Management.
Dr Dick has conducted multiple Clinical trials in the wound care Industry space on pre-market and post-market devices and technologies.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) including the Section of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management where she serves on the Specialty development Council for development of the first ever ABPTS Wound Management Specialization. In 2020, Dr Dick was appointed to the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.
In February of 2021, Dr. Dick was appointed the Medical Science Liaison Manager for the United States and Canada for 3Ms Medical Solutions Division.
