Dena Salamon, MSN, RN Perioperative Nursing Director of the Main Pavilion Operating Rooms, Cleveland Clinic. Dena has been a caregiver with the Cleveland Clinic for over 20 years, demonstrating excellence in both clinical and leadership positions across this time. Prior to her current position, Dena served as the Nurse Manager for the Main Campus Digestive Disease operating rooms. She also has extensive experience as an OR staff nurse in the areas of cardio thoracic, plastics, and general and colorectal surgery. She is known for her collaboration with all members of the interprofessional team, her willingness to lead teams through change to develop innovative solutions, and her commitment to patient and caregiver safety. Dena received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College and her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and has spoken at three national conferences.
