Erin Kyle, DNP, RN, CNOR, NEA-BC, is Editor-in-Chief, Guidelines for Perioperative Practice at AORN where she works closely with guideline authors and the Guidelines Advisory Board in developing and updating AORN's evidence-based guidelines. Dr. Kyle serves as staff liaison to AAMI and FGI, where she is active in national and international standards development. Dr. Kyle is passionate about making the most current evidence-based perioperative practice recommendations available and achievable in every perioperative practice setting, and emphasizing the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices in the OR and beyond.
