Ana is a NPDS with over thirty-two years of operating room experience. She has been a OR Manager, Scrub for various services, Mentor and Resource nurse in the Cardiovascular Service. Other adventures in her career is her experience in the Naval Reserve with field medic training with the Marines.
She is a graduate with a Masters of Science in perioperative clinical nurse leadership from the University of San Francisco. Her focus is cross-training education with the cardiovascular surgical nursing team and with the vascular cath lab nursing team. Ana has presented at the EORNA 2021 Virtual Congress on Fire Safety/Drill during a COVID Pandemic. in May 2021
