Lori Doctor, MBA, BSN, RN, CNOR is a perioperative education coordinator at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus and Southpointe Hospitals. Utilizing her BA in Organizational Communications, Doctor spent 15 years in leadership roles within the hospitality industry. In 2013, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University and now has over 6 years of experience working in surgical services including roles in endoscopy, the OR, and education. In 2017, Doctor became a certified BLS instructor. Doctor continues to professionally develop herself and in early 2020 she earned her CNOR. In August 2020, she earned her Masters of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. She also completed the the Distinguished Educator 1 Program at Cleveland Clinic which focuses on the foundations of teaching, assessment, curriculum planning, and competency-based instruction methods. Additionally, Doctor completed a Simulation Facilitator Elective where she advanced her knowledge in the design and implementation of educational simulations.
