Stephanie S. Davis serves as the Vice President of Surgical Services for the Operations and Service Line Group of HCA Healthcare. She is a subject matter expert and service line leader for the largest for-profit healthcare company in the US with over 185 hospitals, and 130 ASC, and many other sites of care. Stephanie cultivates surgical strategies and solutions across the enterprise with an emphasis on sharing best practices to help ensure that HCA has the ORs of choice in the communities they serve. Stephanie received her undergraduate degrees from Youngstown State University in Ohio and her Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. She has been a perioperative nurse for 30 plus years, with roles ranging from staff nurse to the VP of Surgical Services. Stephanie has lead surgical services at the national level by being President of the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (2018-2019), President Elect (2017-2018), Treasurer (2015-2017), and a member of the Board of Directors (2013-2015). During her presidency Stephanie attended and presented at international nursing conferences in China, Australia, and Japan and represented periOperative nurses at the American Nurses Association and at the American College of Surgeons. Stephanie was named “OR Manager of the Year” by OR Manager Inc. in 2020. Stephanie is a current member of the Board of Trustees for the AORN Foundation.
