Dr. Natalie Jones is a health care leader with over 30+ years of committed service as a Registered Nurse, Perioperative Director and Administrator. Her interests include mentoring new leaders, staff development, patient safety, and facilitating quality standards with evidence-based outcomes. In her current position as the Director of Perioperative Services/Nurse Consultant at NBJ Healthcare Consulting and Management Company, she has established a proven track record in her ability to successfully lead and direct patient care services.
Dr. Jones is a transformational leader with experience in world renowned Academic and Magnet Healthcare Organizations. As a healthcare leader she provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, directs renovation projects, and works with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate quality patient care and objectives. Dr. Jones is a member of AORN South Florida Chapter 1004 and served as President, President-Elect, and Board Member from (2005-Present) and currently serves as Treasurer (2020-2022). She served as an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) and the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives (FONE). She received an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and Nursing, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate Degree in Health Care Administration. Her academic studies in leadership, business, and health care administration, has help to further enhance her knowledge and advance her personal and professional skills. In her current position as Associate Faculty for the Doctoral Healthcare Administration Program at Univesity of Phoenix, she enjoys the opportunity to help cultivate future healthcare leaders.
