Sara Angelilli is currently serving as the Director of Perioperative Education at Allegheny Health Network. She has 15 years of operating room experience and six years of experience as a professional development practitioner. She was honored with the 2021 Allegheny Health Network Leading the Way award for evidence-based practice and nursing research related to her work through a NIOSH grant for the implementation of an elastomeric half mask respirator program during the COVID-19 pandemic. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Education and Leadership from Carlow University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Capella University.
