Shannon Allen Hayes is an accomplished healthcare professional with over twenty-three years of experience in nursing. She began her career at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and has worked at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI, as well as South Baldwin Medical Center in Foley, AL . Most recently, Shannon has transitioned her career to travel nursing in the operating room and is currently working in a Level 1 trauma center OR. Her nursing experience includes working in labor and delivery, newborn nursery, post-operative orthopedic and transplants, perioperative, PACU, cardiothoracic/open heart surgery, and general and robotic surgery.
Shannon received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Montgomery College in MD, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in AZ, and is pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing with an advanced practice focus in nursing education. She is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.
