Deborah Marie Ebert, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNOR, CCRN-K, CPAN, CAPA is a certified Nurse Executive and Mentor with over 35 years of experience in Leadership, Strategic Operations, Surgery, PeriAnesthesia, and Critical Care Services. She currently serves as Associate Vice-president of Perioperative Services for the Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center Health System. She is responsible for services across the perioperative arena. Her responsibility extends to the operating room, PeriAnesthesia departments, surgical scheduling, endoscopy services, business operations, and sterile processing. She provides oversight for areas of responsibility to ensure the achievement of goals for the departments and serves in a clinically integrated organization.
Ms. Ebert serves and supports many national professional organizations. She is a member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN), American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN), American Nurses Association (ANA), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), National Association of Professional Women and Sigma Theta Tau, Mu Delta chapter.
Recent appointments include the national Chair of AORN Recruitment and Retention Committee 2019-20, 2020-21, AORN Journal Editorial Board, and CCI Recertification Committee Chair. She is an advocate for Nursing Excellence, speaking nationally on safe perioperative care and professionalism.
