With over 40 years of nursing experience and 0ver 30 years of perioperative nursing experience, Elizabeth Austin Evans, is a valued member of the Surgical Services and Clinical Education Departments at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. She has proudly served AORN as a member for over 16 years with local Chapters as chapter president, board of directors, committees, and with special events. She serves AORN National as an AORN Journal Reviewer, Contact hour Education Reviewer, and the Periop 101 Task Force. Dr. Austin Evans has served with the Pediatric and Clinical Education Specialty Assemblies as chair and committee member.as well as presenting posters and sessions at numerous Expos. She is proud to be a member of AORN and support the next generation of perioperative nurses.
