Robert Williams is a healthcare consultant/educator with over 30 years of perioperative experience in leadership, management, and education. His experience incorporates operations and logistics within the Perioperative and Sterile Processing settings and general training and development within the healthcare industry. Robert served for 20 years as a Navy Corpsman with the US Marine Corp in both active duty and reserve positions. Robert has worked as a Surgical First Assistant in Orthopedics, Cardiovascular and Thoracic, and General/GYN Surgery and has also served as manager in Central Sterile Processing and Materials Management. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University in 2009 and a Master of Healthcare Management from Vanderbilt Owens School of Management in 2018. He is currently credentialed through IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician and a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor. He is an active member of both AORN and IAHCSMM.
