Christine LaGrasta is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Boston Children's Hospital. She completed both MSN and DNP degrees at Northeastern University and hold dual certifications as a primary and acute car pediatric nurse practitioner. As a committed clinical leader and advanced practice nurse, she has influenced divers groups through clinical research. She is a co-developer and lead clinical expert in research quantifying the workload of the acute and critical care staff nurse with a number of publications in reference to the Complexity Assessment and Monitoring to Ensure Optimal Outcomes Tool (CAMEO). As part of an APRN workgroup, she helped to create and publish an APRN clinical ladder at Boston Children's. She is Associate Faculty in the DNP Program at Northeastern and mentors colleagues in EBP at Boston Children's. Christine has been involved in a number of international initiatives to improve cardiac care to low and middle income countries through OPENPediatrics, the International Quality Improvement Collaborative for Congenital Heart Disease (IQIC) and Children's Heartlink. She's present nationally and internationally on pediatric congenital heart disease and arrhythmias.
