Barbara A. Herrmann has been employed by Overlook Medical Center, Atlantic Health System for over 30 years. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BSN, is a member of AORN, and is CNOR certified. She functions as a perioperative clinical nurse, both scrubbing and circulating as well as precepting novice OR nurses. She was a member and past chair of Shared Governance. She has functioned in the role of Clinical Coordinator and Perioperative Educator during her career. Additionally, she travels to underserved countries of the world on medical missions to provide pro bono surgery to children in need.
