Michelle has been a nurse for 27 years. She has been in the operating room at the Center for Advanced Medicine, South County since it opened in May 2016. She became the resource nurse in 2019 and obtained her CNOR the same year. She enjoys working with the doctors, other OR staff and also enjoys working with the supply team on managing supplies and looking for ways to save costs. During the pandemic she teamed up with the hand surgeon, and medical student to create a local pack for carpal tunnel and trigger finger cases. She is looking forward to sharing her quality improvement initiative by presenting a poster at the global conference.
