Victoria Hamary has worked for over 10 years in the operating room at a level two trauma center. She has extensive experience in the scrub and circulating roles and was considered a content expert within orthopedic, neuro/spine and podiatry. She then accepted a role as a perioperative education program coordinator. In the education role she developed multiple programs, high fidelity simulations, worked with her team to achieve accreditation for the nurse residency program as well as presenting posters at AORN and OR Manager conferences. She obtained her CNOR certification in 2017 and her MSN with a focus in nursing education in 2019. She now holds a position as an assistant nurse manager in a specialty care clinic for the Department of Veterans affairs. In this clinic they perform small outpatient procedures as well as support many specialty providers.
