Andrea Thibodeaux, BSN, RN-BC is Manager of Nursing Informatics , System Nursing Professional Development, Center for Quality Excellence at Ochsner Health System New Orleans, Louisiana. Since 1996, Andrea has served as an experienced Nurse Leader and has been recognized as a Great 100 Nurse of Louisiana as an outstanding Nurse. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Her clinical background is in the Medical Surgical nursing specialty and she served as lead nurse of an Ambulatory Surgical Department. Andrea earned her Ambulatory and Nursing Informatics Certifications from ANCC, EpicCare Ambulatory Certification from Epic of Verona, faculty certification through the Ochsner Leadership Institute and LEAN Six Sigma Elite Green Belt certification at Ochsner. She is a member of the American Nursing Informatics Association, American Academy of Ambulatory Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.
