Taccoa has been a Senior clinical instructor for 9 years. She participates in creating, implementing, and evaluating several simulation activities, virtual and in lab. Taccoa was previously the Unit Nurse Educator in the cardiovascular operating room for 11 years. Currently she is the Systems Nursing Perioperative Professional Development Coordinator for Emory Healthcare where she provides didactic and clinical instruction to all novice perioperative operating room and procedural area nurses for Emory Healthcare. She is currently servicing on the nominating committee for the AORN Atlanta Chapter #1101
