LCDR Angela Cummiskey, USN has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University, with a total of 12 years clinical and administrative experience as a Perioperative Nurse. She has maintained national certification as CNOR since 2014.
In 2009, she commissioned into the US Navy Nurse Corps as a graduate of Villanova University Navy ROTC which has afforded her many clinical and leadership opportunities. She has served as a MOR Education and Training Officer, Infection Control Officer, Public Affairs Officer, and Sterile Processing Department Division Officer while serving at USNH Okinawa Japan, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Role 3 MMU Kandahar Afghanistan, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and most recently NH Camp Pendleton.
With a passion for process improvement and leadership, LCDR Angela Cummiskey has mentored numerous nurses and technicians and championed many initiatives to mirror practice with standards of excellence to maximize patient safety and process efficiency. She is committed to providing quality and safe patient care and while assigned to Sterile Processing Department at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.
