Sarah Hueneke is a Public Health Analyst within the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), Division of State and Community Services (DSCH) serving as the Project Officer for CityMatCH as well as central office support for HHS Regions 4 and 5 Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Block Grant program. Prior to her role at HRSA, Sarah was the manager of the National Coordinating Center for Epilepsy, a technical assistance center supporting state MCHB epilepsy awardees, at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Sarah also served as a coordinator for the Screening in Practices initiative at the AAP which focused on educating pediatricians on the importance of screening and referring for developmental milestones, maternal depression, and social determinants of health. Sarah also has experience at the local and state levels from previous roles at the Kane County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health. She also serves as occasional adjunct faculty for her alma mater, Northern Illinois University.
