Praise E. Tangbe is currently a doctoral student of the Department of Behavioral and Environmental Health in the Accredited School of Public Health, Jackson State University. Her master’s degree was obtained in Public health with an emphasis in Behavioral Health from Ohio University. Her research interests are MCH, community health, racially diverse and underserved populations, and health disparities and health equity in rural areas. She has conducted several research on MCH to prevent diseases and pregnancy-related complications to improve the health of mothers and infants. She has a strong commitment to community engagement and practice in health promotion and health educational interventions. Miss Tangbe is currently working with the MSDH as a Community Engagement Specialist, where she works with community partners to reduce cardiovascular disease burdens through education and promotion of health awareness and healthy lifestyles among African Americans.
