Nadia Moreta is the Community Inclusion Specialist for the Maternal Child Health Program at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. She is responsible for developing and facilitating CDPHE's innovative Community Advisory Board (CAB) and Youth Advisory Council, Youth Partnership for Health. The CAB and YPH are mechanisms by which community members and youth can speak directly to state staff and programs. She has also developed tools to maximize community voice across department programs using co-creation as a method with cross-agency state staff, community partners, and community members. Prior to working at CDPHE, Nadia worked at Prevent Child Abuse NC, as the Community Partnerships Manager. While at PCANC, Nadia helped develop community child abuse prevention planning initiatives.
