Geeta Wadhwani is an advocate, clinician, educator and connector who has worked with communities and organizations for over 20 years. As a public health professional, she worked with mothers to promote healthy birth outcomes and navigated complex social and clinical systems to coordinate care for populations with HIV. She served as a champion and community partner of the ACAs health insurance reforms, supported quality improvement for Medicaid populations and currently serves as Program Leader for the WI Medical Home Initiative with Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin. In her role , Geeta is facilitating a pilot focused on food insecurity and health. Her graduate research was focused on care models, financing and policy that links disparate systems to bridge connections across healthcare and community based organizations. Geeta Wadhwani, holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and a Master in Public Health.
