Sarah Covington-Kolb (MSW, MSPH) has over 20 years' experience working in perinatal health promotion in the US and abroad. Currently at the Center for Community Health Alignment, she helps train, evaluate, and support perinatal community health workers. She has been a state program director with the March of Dimes, implemented CenteringPregnancy and managed a collaboratives for a county health department. Before that, she worked abroad in refugree assistance and international education in Africa, Europe and Latin America. She has experience in research, program development and implementation, fundraising, governmental affairs, and leadership. She's here to help families be healthy and happy through changing institutional systems, research, policy, direct programs, and ending structural inequalities.
