Kristin Dodge is the NC Director of Innovative Approaches; funded through the MCHB grant. She manages and supervises the statewide operations of the IA Initiative and provides on-going technical assistance and training on the system of care approach to improve community-wide services to meet the needs of families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). Kristin earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management with a Minor in Computer Science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. She has been working in the Children and Youth Branch of the NC Division of Public Health since 2014. She has over 20 years of experience in grant administration; policy, program, and systems development, and consultation work with public health, non-profit, and private agencies in Colorado and North Carolina.
