Loretta Severin is a Research Project Manager at the Center for Public Partnerships and Research at the University of Kansas where she serves as the Implementation Lead for IRIS (Integrated Referral and Intake System), a communication tool that empowers communities to ensure families are connected to the services and resources they need to thrive. For more than 10 years Loretta has coordinated state-level projects on topics including substance abuse prevention and developmental health promotion, pairing policy and system-level initiatives with locally implemented strategies and collaborations. Today, Loretta develops capacity-building implementation approaches, builds connections, and oversees community IRIS implementation. She is gratified by working alongside community members to develop solutions and seeing firsthand the good work they accomplish for children and families. Loretta has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
