Kenn Harris has been involved with Healthy Start since 1991. He is a nationally recognized trainer and facilitator and served as Vice President for Community Engagement and Project Director for the New Haven Healthy Start program at The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven in New Haven, CT for 20 years. As a NICHQ's Executive Project Director & Engagement Lead, he oversees the Supporting Healthy Start Performance Project. He has extensive expertise in maternal and child health, fatherhood and partner involvement, and racial equity. He served on the Management Team of the Male Involvement Network of New Haven, which he helped to establish 20 years ago. He is chair of the LEGACY Council, and the last President of the NHSA Board of Directors for maternal and child health. He is a researcher on men’s health and co-creator of the Core Adaptive Model for Fatherhood programs (CAM®), an evidenced-informed model for fatherhood programs being implemented across the country.
