Dr. Fleet is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Boston Children's Hospital and serves as the director of the Growth and Nutrition Program. Established in 1984, this program is one of the oldest multidisciplinary programs in the U.S. serving children with feeding difficulties, failure-to-thrive and pediatric feeding disorders. It is funded in part by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and cares for over 500 patients under the age 7, many of whom are children with special healthcare needs. She also serves as the Chair of the Food Insecurity Task Force for the GI division, and Director, Physician-at-Large for the International Association of Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing. In her academic role, Dr. Fleet serves as the Director of Medical Education for the Center for Nutrition and Program Director for the Advanced Nutrition Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, overseeing nutrition education for students and trainees. Additionally she is course co-director for the first year pathophysiology curriculum at Harvard Medical School. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two young children.
