Received BA and MA from Marshall University and attended Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
Has been employed by the State of West Virginia for 31 years with the last 25 in the Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health. Currently works as the MCH Epidemiologist, PRAMS PI/Director and leads the MCH Epi Unit in the Division of Research, Evaluation and Planning.
Participating member of following Advisories: PRAMS, Infant and Maternal Mortality Review Panel, Child Fatality Review Panel, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Newborn Hearing Screening, Maternal Risk Screening, Oral Health, Home Visitation, BRFSS, WV Perinatal Partnership, Tobacco Free Families and Our Babies Safe and Sound.
Active member of CSTE and serves as MCH Sub Committee Chair.
