Ms. Rivkina joined the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in November 2020. As Manager, National Coordinating Center for Epilepsy, she oversees the Innovations in Access to Care for Children and Youth with Epilepsy cooperative agreement and guides the implementation of all activities associated with its mission. Prior to joining AAP, Ms. Rivkina was the Program Manager for DePaul University’s Master of Public Health program where she handled the daily operations of the academic department. She oversaw program accreditation, workforce development, and student technical assistance. Ms. Rivkina’s previous professional experience includes overseeing district-level chronic disease policy implementation for Chicago Public Schools, pediatric asthma and food allergy research at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and program evaluation at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Ms. Rivkina received her Master of Public Health degree from DePaul University in 2013.
